Ingredients:
– 1,2 kg (~3 lbs ) beef shank
– 3 large brown onion
– 1 yellow wax ( or bell) pepper
– 2 medium tomatoes
– 4 cloves of garlic
– 3 tbsp of pork lard or cooking oil
– 2-3 bay leaves
– 1 tsp of ground caraway
– 3 tbsp of quality paprika powder
– 100 ml quality dry red wine
– salt, ground black pepper
