Hypothesis: Running G2G continualy, allowes mycelium being transfered continually to age while being cloned.. as its traights are passed on continually so is its age.. there by causing an earlier and earlier stage of fruiting within jars? That or we can blame it on genetics, for those people running G2G of agar or isolated strains, are your G2G transfers fruiting earlier or should I take a print and start a new set.. I've read that senescence doesn't become noticeable until 8 transfers. And 8 transfers at 1:10 transfer rate is a stupid amount of spawn. If you have a culture, you don't need to go back to spore. Just go back to your original plate or slant. --------------------

was just wondering.. just knocked up some spores, and my old strain jars are just fruiting way before their done colonizing.. now i know -------------------- "your a female, no one woulda cared you were naked,hell probably made someone's day, but I pull my balls out on a bus and im the bad guy.."

no these are doing really well, infact faster then all the rest of my batches.. i just upgraded the hole size on my jars maybe 1/8 of an inch packed with polly fill. the holes were packed as tight as possible.. wondering if that may be it, a little more fae then needed.. either way ill prolly order the plastic jars to be safe so that way they get proper flow and less rust and crap on my lids.. plastic is the way -------------------- "your a female, no one woulda cared you were naked,hell probably made someone's day, but I pull my balls out on a bus and im the bad guy.."
